UHT Receiving Lead- Nights
About the role
The Warehouse Lead supports and coordinates warehouse / shipping department activities to drive efficient operations on assigned shifts and areas. This includes coordinating and assigning customer orders, shipments, receiving product, addressing product and employee concerns, and problem resolving. This person supports Company’s policies/procedures, while following all CI processes and the Management Operating Structure (MOS).
Responsibilities
- Covers shipping and/or warehouse operations including shipping schedules, loading operations and material handling activities.
- Performs product inventory activities, confirming physical inventory quantity and location, reporting variances.
- Performs employing training for new employees, current employees, actively communicating procedures and workflow.
- Maintains time and shipping records as required.
- Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems.
- Prepares required reports.
- Maintains a clean and organized warehouse work area at all times.
- Collaborates, communicates and provides cross-functional support with other departments to minimize warehouse operations disruption.
- Performs back-up Warehouse Driver responsibilities when required.
- Performs back-up Shipping Clerk responsibilities when required.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Experience leading and following Safety/Security Policies and Procedures.
- Ability to follow all Sanitation and Quality Policies and Procedures, and report and follow through on any deficiencies.
- Lift truck certification or the ability to obtain a lift truck certification (Powered Industrial Trucks).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and computer-based applications, SAP a plus.
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs; ability to lead others through change.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Skill in organization and prioritization, and attention to detail.
- Strong team player and leader with the ability to work across multiple functions and disciplines.
Qualifications
- Physical abilities include the ability to walk, climb, kneel, stoop and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods of time in a manufacturing facility.
- Environment includes, wet, cold, hot, humid, chemicals, high noise – controlled at TWA of 85dB, wear approved personal protective equipment.
Skills

Pay
$30.89 + $1.50/hr shift differential
