Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Set the tone and provide leadership, supervision, and direction to assigned Distribution Center team members and temporary associates.
- Support other departmental leads within all areas.
- Assist the Warehouse Supervisor with utilizing the delivery schedule to create the daily door sheet and coding the delivery schedule to align with the day’s workload.
- Assist the Warehouse Supervisor with the creation and execution of the shift plan for putaway and pulling that is aligned with the overall DC Daily Plan.
- Ensure SHP locations are clear in STORIS prior to pulling any new product. Any discrepancies should be reported to the Selection Supervisors immediately and resolved prior to using the SHP location again.
- Work with associates to assist pulling product, provide coverage for breaks, and ensure team is not having downtime. Report to a Supervisor any associate “not working” during their scheduled work times.
- Relay time sensitive information, conflicts between associates in a professional and confidential manner.
- During the morning meetings ensure monthly safety topics are reviewed with the team and equipment audits are conducted on a regular basis. Emphasis safety and identify any unsafe work practices and report them to your supervisor.
- Maintain, refine and/or improve processes within the area to meet customer requirements which include deadlines and quality standards.
- Provide a positive and engaging working environment focusing on the DC metrics including housekeeping standards are developed into daily processes.

Education, Experience And Other Qualifications
- No less than 2 years of warehouse experience
- Proficient in MS Office [Outlook, Excel, Word] or similar suite
- Ability to train individuals in the putaway, pulling and warehouse processing functions
- Dedicated to business and willing to adjust schedule and hours as needed to support the department’s needs
