UCSF Fresno & Inspire Health – Pulmonary and Critical Care Faculty

About the role

The UCSF Fresno Campus and Central California Faculty Medical Group, dba Inspire Health are seeking a faculty member to join the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. The appointee will provide clinical coverage in the intensive care unit, inpatient pulmonary consult services as well as general outpatient pulmonary practice with opportunity to focus on subspecialties like interstitial lung disease, pulmonary hypertension, severe asthma/COPD, upper airway disorders, bronchiectasis/NTM disease. Sleep opportunity is available for interested candidates within an ACGME accredited sleep fellowship program. Other duties include teaching, supervision of trainees and clinical research.

Responsibilities

The appointee will hold a faculty appointment with UCSF and compensation will be commensurate with the applicant’s experience and accomplishments. For positions exclusively funded by the affiliate organization: Inspire Health provided a reasonable salary estimate for this position $300,000-$450,000.

Requirements

Applicants must be board certified or eligible in Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine and must be eligible to apply for a California Medical License.

Qualifications

Applicants must have a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree and be eligible for a California Medical License.
