About the role

The UCSF Fresno Medical Education Program and Central California Faculty Medical Group (CCFMG), dba Inspire Health, are seeking full-time Cardiology faculty with Advanced Heart Failure interest at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday. Mix of outpatient clinic/echo lab/cath lab. Low Weekend Call Burden (10 weekend calls/year).
  • Patient workload: 16-20 patients/day in clinic; All Inpatient work supported by fellows/residents/NP.
  • Academic/Clinical Engagement: Opportunities for teaching, research and leadership available.

Requirements

  • Board certified or eligible in Cardiovascular Disease and preferably board eligible in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology.
  • Competency in Left Ventricular Assist Device and California licensed or eligible to obtain a California medical license.
  • Excellent clinical and procedural skills and preferably have completed an additional Advanced Heart Failure/Transplant Fellowship.
  • Willingness to actively participate in medical education and experience and interest in clinical medicine.

  • Faculty appointment with UCSF will be commensurate with the applicants’ background and accomplishments.
