About the role
UC Foundation Interns are part-time, hourly paid (non-exempt) student positions employed by the University of Cincinnati Foundation (UCF) and are expected to work 15-20 hours per week. Applicants are required to be current University of Cincinnati students. UC Foundation Interns are not academic internships nor do they provide credit toward a degree.
Requirements
- Current UC Main Campus student with an above average GPA
- Interest in exploring a non-profit career
- Must be available for part-time intern position – 15-20 hours per week
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong analytical skills, creativity, insatiable curiosity, attention to detail, and team-oriented posture, and ability to meet deadlines are required
- A demonstrated ability to solve problems, analyze and synthesize information, manage several projects simultaneously, a self-starter, and resourcefulness are strongly preferred
- Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to search various databases, utilize internet research databases and relationship management software are preferred
Physical Demands
- This position is considered to have light work.
- Exerting up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently, and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
- This position requires the operation of a motor vehicle.
