U.S. IP & Commercial Transactions Associate

About the role

We are seeking a mid-level associate (class of 2020–2022) to join our growing Intellectual Property & Commercial Transactions practice in our New York office.

Responsibilities

• Advising leading clients across the technology, life sciences, consumer products, industrials, and manufacturing sectors on complex transactions
• Experience with IP-intensive M&A (public and private), as well as financing and securitization transactions
• Familiarity with commercial agreements, including licensing, distribution, development, collaboration, and joint venture arrangements

Requirements

• Four to six years of relevant experience at a leading law firm
• Strong drafting and analytical skills
• Attention to detail
• Experience supervising junior associates

Qualifications

• U.S. J.D. preferred
• New York Bar admission required

Pay

The base salary range offered for this role will be between $310,000- $390,000 and represents the firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant experience, performance, qualifications, degrees and location, as well as the needs of the firm.
