General Description

Essential Duties

  • Performs high-volume account access management functions in support of approved data contracts, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with established policies and security standards.
  • Reviews and validates account request documentation such as; account forms and user authorization forms; to confirm completeness, accuracy, and proper approvals.
  • Creates and provisions new external user accounts, ensuring appropriate system access levels are assigned based on contractual requirements and user roles.
  • Manages a large volume of account maintenance activities, including adding, updating, and removing user access in accordance with system access control procedures.
  • Maintains and tracks account activity requests to ensure prompt processing, maintains detailed records of actions taken, and resolves discrepancies or incomplete submissions by coordinating with internal teams and external partners.
  • Ensures strict adherence to data governance, confidentiality, and information security standards while supporting efficient and effective user access lifecycle management.
  • Handles customer inquiries related to the data contract process, including applications and contract execution.
  • Performs and documents vetting activities related to contract applications.
  • Maintains and updates data using an internal tracking system.
  • Prepares documents for review by manager, division and department leadership.
  • Performs compliance reviews to determine and document compliance with laws, rules and regulations.
  • Identifies issues regarding compliance that require follow-up.
  • Aids in preparing reports related to the status of data contract applications and data contracts.
  • Requests information from contract holders to facilitate compliance and audit functions.
  • Corresponds with existing and potential customers on a variety of matters related to data contracts.
  • Collaborates with the Contract Unit manager to review processes, identify concerns, and foster ongoing workflow efficiencies.
  • Performs activities to achieve compliance resolution, which may include written or oral correspondence, cross-division collaboration, or collection and analysis of information submitted in response to compliance issues.

Marginal Duties

  • Travels up to 5% of the time. Travel by car (may include flying). May include overnight travel.
  • May require working extended hours and some evenings and weekends, as needed. May be required to work hours other than 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
  • Employees are required to report to the office as directed.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • Education: Graduation from high school or equivalent.
  • No substitutions are available in lieu of experience.
  • Experience: One (1) year of relevant work experience in contract monitoring or compliance, auditing, program or project support, data analysis, research, or account management is required.
