TWIN Traffic Producer

Responsibilities

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the New York Tri-State area Traffic geography.
• Gather, produce, write and format traffic reporting information.
• Edit and manage content on TWIN/Audacy Social Media platforms.
• Work with in-studio Traffic reporters to deliver actionable & meaningful Traffic stories, formatted for broadcast on Audacy New York radio stations.
• Communicate to & retrieve Traffic information from airborne Traffic surveillance aircraft and format info for use by Traffic reporters.
• Manage incoming Traffic information received from station tip callers.
• Manage operation center documents as required.
• Perform other duties as required by management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of traffic or news reporting experience for broadcast media.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Knowledge of Google Workspace, Slack and other online collaboration platforms.
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to a changing and highly challenging environment.
• College degree preferred, but not required.
• Strongly Preferred: Must be able to gather & ready real time incident and other traffic information; must be computer literate, have excellent writing and presentation skills; must have a can-do attitude with a willingness to perform any task big or small; must be an experienced story teller when communicating Traffic info to Reporters; Knowledge of the NY Tri-State broadcast area commuting/local geography and all transportation systems are essential.

Pay

The anticipated salary range for New York City-based individuals expressing interest in this position is $23.00/Hr. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities and location of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity.
