TWAS Technician (30600)

About the role

As a TWAS Technician at Pentagon, your main responsibilities are to process parts within the Twin Arc Spray room according to established procedures and practices. We have a position available on 2nd Shift (2-10:30pm).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Mask parts for the coating process according to specifications.
• Perform spraying on surfaces and detail coating build-up along tape edges.
• Inspect and maintain equipment, changing contact tips and cleaning systems to minimize dust accumulation.
• Empty dust collector drums and maintain fixtures in good working order.
• Understand and follow operating procedures to ensure consistent, reliable, and timely processing of parts.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand technical prints and identify damage on parts.
• Appreciate and adhere to schedules, quality standards, and organizational policies regarding safety, attendance, and conduct.
• Basic computer skills and/or robotic operations knowledge.
• Has basic math and measurement skills.

Work Environment

This role operates in a working environment that includes noise, exposure to machinery with moving parts, dust, toxic or flammable substances. Personal Protective Equipment is required.

Physical Demands

Must pass Company required screening tests. The employee is regularly required to sit and stand, reach with hands and arms and perform light routine office work, which includes computer workstation usage. Should be able to pick-up 75 lbs on occasional or regular basis.
