Position Summary
Looking for math tutors provide academic support to students in a variety of math subjects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics and a passion for helping students succeed. Becoming a math tutor will require and provide additional training.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a WSU student
- Completed Calculus I with a B+ or better, or equivalent course
- Maintain a GPA of at least 3.0 in mathematics subjects, as well as a cumulative 3.0 GPA
- A strong working knowledge of the subject matter you will be tutoring
- Good listening, communication, and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior tutoring or teaching experience is preferred
