Middle & High School Math Tutor

Job Summary

Prep Academy Tutors of Philadelphia is looking for certified middle school math teachers.

Apart from this, the position is a part-time 1099 Contractor position, up to 20 hours per week. It involves in-person tutoring, typically after school and on weekends.

Requirements

• A qualified applicant will have a bachelor’s degree
• Meet at least one of the following criteria:
• You hold a valid Pennsylvania State teaching certificate or the equivalent thereof
• You are a current student teacher pursuing a teaching certificate
• You have two or more years of experience as a private or charter school classroom teacher
• You have experience as a lecturer/course instructor at an accredited U.S. University or College
• You are a Master's/PhD student with experience as a teaching assistant at an accredited U.S. University or College
