About the role

Responsibilities
- Provide in-home academic support and homework help for elementary and middle school students for math, language arts, science, social studies, and other subjects.
- Engaging and energetic while instructing students.
- Responsive and communicate effectively with students, parents, and employees.
- Highly organized and adaptable to the needs of diverse learners.
- Create a positive, safe learning environment.
- Help students achieve their goals.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of teaching and/or tutoring experience.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Strong academic background - preference for classroom teachers/paraprofessionals.
- Confidence teaching the reading, writing, and math skills covered in the elementary and middle grades.
- Reliable car access to travel to students’ homes.
