Tutor an ESL adult students attending community college!

Description

Upwards Scholars, a nonprofit located in Northern California, provides academic support to ESL students, so they can attend community colleges in the San Mateo Community College District and Peralta Community College District in California. We are looking for tutors to work with our students on their ESL or ESOL class assignments. Most tutors meet with their students once a week (60 to 90 minutes) to go over their class assignments. Students and tutors work out a time and communication tool that works for them both.

Please note that all new volunteer tutors must complete a Google form and participate in a virtual orientation. You will receive the invite to complete our New Tutor application upon successfully submitting this interest form.
