About the Role

The Turn Down Attendant is responsible for cleaning rooms and halls in the hotel, performing a variety of duties to ensure guest comfort and satisfaction during their stay.

Responsibilities

• Provides turn-down service and refreshes guestrooms in the evenings.
• Delivers items to guest rooms and other areas of the hotel.
• Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, fitness center, pool deck, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, associate break rooms, and locker rooms.
• Replenishes room supplies such as drinking glasses, notepads, and pens.
• Performs Room Attendant duties, including cleaning rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies using a vacuum cleaner.
• Dusts furniture and equipment; washes walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
• Empties and washes wastebaskets; transports trash and waste to disposal areas.
• Follows material safety data sheets when using chemicals.
• Reports to work on time for scheduled shifts, in uniform, and in compliance with company policies.
• Greets guests and fellow associates in a friendly and professional manner.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Requirements

• Effective communication skills with guests and co-workers.
• Ability to present and conduct oneself professionally while embodying Hotel Emma’s culture.
• Six months of related experience as a hotel Room Attendant.
• Flexible schedule required for PM shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Working Conditions & Physical Demands

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Prolonged standing, pushing, stretching, bending, and kneeling without restrictions.
• Schedule reflects business demands, including long and unusual hours on occasion.
