About the role

The purpose of the position of kitchen steward is to wash dishes, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and assist the team with kitchen operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate all kitchen cleaning equipment
• Wash dishes and glassware, by hand if necessary
• Restock all supplies
• Keep kitchen area clean and free of debris and water
• Stock any deliveries received in a timely and safe manner
• Remove trash and all debris from restaurant routinely
• Assist other restaurant personnel with tasks when necessary

Requirements

• Effective communication with departments and team
• Ability to present and conduct oneself professionally and emulate the Hotel Emma culture
• Three to six months related experience and/or training
• Minimum knowledge; previous experience not required

Schedule

Flexible schedule required, including AM/PM shifts, weekends, and holidays.
