MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Manager for a travel nursing job in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Assess the mental health status of patients with behavioral challenges.
• Collaborate with medical providers and mental health staff in the design and delivery of patient care.
• Administer and monitor effectiveness and side-effects of psychotropic medications.
• Aid patients and families as appropriate in interpreting and managing maladaptive behaviors and planning healthy lifestyle changes.
• Show balanced judgment in evaluation situations and decision-making to handle difficult or confrontational situations professionally.

Requirements

• Active RN License.
• Accredited nursing program degree.
• BLS Certification.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Psychiatric setting.
• Other requirements to be determined by the client facility.
