About the role
Meda Health is seeking a travel nurse RN Manager for a travel nursing job in Rochester, New York.
Responsibilities
- Manage nursing staff and ensure patient safety and quality care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Assess patient needs and make recommendations for adjustments in care
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and policies
Requirements
- At least two years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Current state licensure as an RN
- BLS certification (at minimum)
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skills
- Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Knowledge of infection control and prevention
- Experience with patient education and discharge planning
