About the Role
The Turndown Attendant is responsible for freshening guestrooms, responding to Housekeeping service requests, and cleaning rooms as needed.
Responsibilities
- Review turndown list and stock caddie to ensure all supplies, linen, and amenities are available for proper turndown service.
- Review list for any special guest requests.
- Turndown each assigned room according to hotel standards.
- Handle "Lost and Found" items according to established procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness of hallways, public areas, and closets (sweeping and vacuuming as needed).
- Prepare housekeeping cart for the next day’s use.
- Report maintenance repairs immediately to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
- Deliver guest laundry to rooms.
- Operate pagers and radios professionally when communicating with staff.
- Deliver guest requests in a timely manner.
- Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
- Perform other duties as requested by management.
- At all times, be attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to guests, managers, and fellow employees.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Flexible and long hours may be required.
- Medium work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 20 pounds frequently, and/or 10 pounds constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects.
- Ability to stand during entire shift.

- Cross-train in other hotel-related areas as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality of information.
- Show initiative, including anticipating guest or operational needs.
- Perform other duties as requested by management.
