Duties And Responsibilities
- Operate a computer system that operates the tunnel washers, shuttle systems to include the theory of operation and issue analysis.
- Maintain clean and safe working conditions: Tunnels, Presses, MLA’s, and Workstation.
- Prepare laundry for processing by performing tasks within areas such as Multi-sort/Trans-Sort, Tunnels/Dryers, Future-rail, and MLA.
- Operate MLA systems for manual entry of soiled laundry when required.
- Open bundles of soiled laundry and push bags as needed to maintain workflow in other production areas.
- Maintain Tunnel Performance (Transfers) according to Crown Linen Standards.
- Report all mechanical issues to Management and Maintenance Department.
- Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
Qualifications
- 1 year of laundry experience, or a combination of computer education and experience.
- Intermediate to advanced computer literacy level.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
- Strong analytical skills to understand production flow requirements.
- Ability to work at a fast pace.
- Ability to work with little supervision.
