Tumor Immunology Postdoctoral Fellow
Summary
A postdoc position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Dorina Avram in the Department of Immunology and Immuno-Oncology Program at the Moffitt Cancer Center to study transcriptional and epigenetic regulators that control the programs of tumor T lymphocytes.
Responsibilities
- Identify favorable programs that allow tumor T lymphocytes to reach high persistence and resistance to immune suppressive tumor microenvironment.
- Further reprogram the T cells to such states using state of the art molecular methodologies, including transcriptomics, epigenomics, CRISPR-CAS9-genome editing, multiplex immunofluorescence and spatial transcriptomics.
- Use patient-derived samples, genetically engineered mouse models, and advanced molecular techniques to advance the understanding of immune responses for cancer therapies.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in immunology.
- Rich wet laboratory experience, including working with mice.
- Strong commitment to research.

Pay
Salary Range: $64,022.40 - $89,631.36
The salary range represents the expected base pay range for the role. Actual compensation may vary based on location and a variety of job-related factors, including experience, skills, education, and internal equity among Team Members in similar positions.
