Tubes and Formulated Research Products HPLC Technician II (Weekend Mid-Shift)

About the role

The Technician II - Tubes and Formulated Research Products - HPLC is responsible for using automated and manual lab equipment accurately; including limited maintenance and troubleshooting activities. This position reports to the Weekend Supervisor - TNFRP Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 12pm to 12:30am. The position is part of the Tubes and Formulated Research Products Value Stream located in Coralville, Iowa, and will be an on-site role.

Responsibilities

• Uses automated and manual lab equipment accurately; including limited maintenance and troubleshooting activities
• Uses HPLC machines and liquid handling robots to purify oligos to meet customer deliverables in quality and timeliness
• Process DNA and RNA products in a high throughput production laboratory space

Requirements

• An associate degree in a science related field or at least two years of lab experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Basic proficiency in a variety of PC software programs with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Ability to read, write, speak, understand and follow basic operating instructions

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree
• Work experience in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to perform and transition through a variety of tasks with concurrent deadlines daily with urgency and efficiency while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
