About the role

As a Technician I, you are responsible for driving meaningful organizational impact by ensuring accurate production flow decisions, precise material preparation, and documentation practices that uphold quality and compliance standards. Your work strengthens operational efficiency through effective equipment use and cleaning, inventory control, while consistently prioritizing work aligned with departmental goals. This role reports to the Supervisor and is part of the Tubes and Formulated Research Products value stream located in Coralville, IA. All work is performed on-site.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately use aids and work instructions to make decisions about the proper production flow based on product type or services.
  • Use a variety of lab equipment to process products, including limited maintenance and troubleshooting activities.
  • Perform lab cleaning and decontamination protocols in accordance with work instructions and Maintenance Connection software.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in a variety of PC software programs with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to exert 20-50 lbs. of force occasionally and/or 10-15 lbs. of force frequently.

Qualifications

It would be a plus if you also possess:

  • Associate degree.
  • Previous laboratory and/or chemical handling experience.

Schedule

Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, Friday through Sunday.
