Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain tube mill equipment to produce high-quality products in accordance with ASTM standards.
• Monitor the tube mill process, adjusting settings as needed to ensure product quality and consistency.
• Perform high frequency welding operations, ensuring all welds meet company and industry standards.
• Use precision measuring tools to verify product dimensions and make necessary adjustments.
• Carry out regular calibration of equipment to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic repairs as needed.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, ensuring a safe work environment at all times.
• Collaborate with other team members to optimize production efficiency.
• Document production data, including output, quality checks, and equipment maintenance activities.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, contributing ideas and suggestions to enhance operational efficiency and product quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a tube mill operator role or similar position in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience with ASTM standards, tube mill operations, high frequency welding, precision measuring, and calibration.
• Strong technical skills, with the ability to operate and maintain complex machinery.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to produce high-quality work under pressure.
• Good physical stamina and dexterity, with the ability to lift heavy objects and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Solid understanding of safety protocols in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to work well in a team, with strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Basic computer skills, with the ability to record and report production data accurately.
• High school diploma or equivalent. Vocational or technical training in a related field would be an advantage.
