Tube Mill Entry Level Operator - 2nd Shift

Summary of Responsibilities

• Offload, hand stack, and package steel tubing manually.
• Assemble bundles correctly to protect product from damage.
• Monitor auto off loaders to ensure tubes are offloading correctly.
• Inspect finished goods and reject non-conforming product.
• Visually inspect tubing for quality defects.
• Able to use measuring devices to measure tubing.
• Repack and band - repack tubing into bundles, pack, and/or band bundles according to customer requirements.
• Technical skill set to perform changeovers and set up.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Prior automotive manufacturing experience preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs
• Must be able to work overtime as needed to support customer requirements
• Able to read and comprehend safety and position procedures
• Excellent attendance record
• Excellent safety record
• Pre-Employment hair drug screen required

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior automotive manufacturing experience
• Experience working in a production or manufacturing facility
