Tube Bending Technician

Responsibilities
- Set up and operate equipment – Set up, maintain, troubleshoot, and operate tube bending and end forming equipment.
- Program CNC tube benders – Program tube benders with required teach moves, halts, rotations, and offsets to produce parts to print.
- Troubleshoot bending issues – Diagnose and resolve problems such as wrinkles, thinning, and breakage during tube fabrication.
- Manage tooling and materials – Change tooling in bending machines, store tooling properly, and use CNC interface to make blank changes.
- Complete job documentation – Maintain accurate records of production runs and job-related paperwork.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED, vocational training
- At least 1 year of related machine operating experience in metal forming
- 2 years of experience in fabrication; tube bending experience strongly preferred
- Manual or CNC tube bending experience strongly preferred
- Manual machining experience for making tooling changes strongly preferred
- Good understanding of GD&T and blueprints
- Basic CAD/CAM training
- Ability to use precision measurement tools
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Forklift operator’s license preferred
- No travel required for this position
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
Position Type and Expected Hours
This is a full-time position, 40–55 hours per week. Overtime may be required; days and hours may vary.
Shifts
Monday-Friday from 7:00am-3:30pm
