Tub And Lid Washer (Day Shift)

About the Role

Sanitize and clean tub equipment in compliance with USDA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Washes and sanitizes tubs and lids using handheld high-pressure equipment and chemicals in a manner consistent with established requirements.
• Completes necessary documentation as needed.
• Participates as a member of the team, fostering strong cohesiveness on major issues such as direction, annual plan, budget, and policy changes.
• Attends team meetings and works to resolve any areas lacking cohesiveness, bringing them to the team leader’s attention.
• Reinforces actions needed to achieve synergy within the larger organization.
• Familiar with Simmons’ operating systems (e.g., quality, security, company policies) and understands the role in supporting these systems.
• Communicates concerns and improvement ideas related to operating systems.
• Performs other duties as necessary in support of business objectives.

Physical Requirements

• Standing on feet for the entire shift.
• Able to lift and/or stack up to 100 lb. tubs, with assistance, from floor/shoulder height to waist/chest level.
• Walking on a wet, slippery surface 100% of the time.
