• Travel: Personal vehicle required; approximately 55 miles per day in assigned territory (mileage may vary). Mileage reimbursed at 62 cents per mile.

Schedule

• Continuous Part-Time position: 20–25 hours per week
• Flexible work schedule based on personal needs and territory requirements
• Core hours: 6:00am – 4:00pm, Monday through Friday (unless business needs require otherwise)
• Typical visits: 6–10+ accounts per day

Pay

Hourly starting rate: $15.50 – $16.50 per hour. Rate may vary depending on skill, experience, and geographic location.

Responsibilities

• Sell and maintain 100% distribution of all authorized Hershey items in assigned territory
• Ensure flawless retail execution of Headquarter Sales and Merchandising Plans (Retail Execution Plan) with various retailers
• Achieve merchandising objectives through effective use of Permanent Secondary Displays and other display vehicles established in the Retail Execution Plan
• Report weekly activity, expenses, account changes, promotions, and all administrative functions within assigned territory
• Report daily activities through tablets, submitting upon completion of each day

Requirements

• Valid U.S. state-issued driver's license
• Personal vehicle in sound operating condition
• Personal auto insurance with minimum coverage of $100,000 per person / $100,000 per accident / $100,000 property damage; policy must permit business use
• Must reside within territory boundaries listed
• Ability to drive long distances to make multiple sales calls daily
• Ability to lift 10–40 lbs. on a regular basis (with or without reasonable accommodations)
• Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, and demonstrate manual dexterity on a frequent basis (with or without reasonable accommodations)
• Ability to use tablet technology
• Daily access to wireless internet
• Flexibility and adaptability to changes in territory coverage
• Availability to work 20–25 hours per week
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• 3–4 years food merchandising experience preferred but not required
