About the role

A Part-Time Territory Sales Associate (TSA) is an opportunity for a relationship-oriented person to develop selling skills while representing major consumer brands. TSAs ensure best-in-class merchandising, including building displays, increasing distribution of top-selling items, and replenishing permanent secondary displays.

Schedule

This is a continuous part-time role requiring 20–25 hours per week. Workdays should overlap core hours of 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, unless business needs require otherwise. On average, a TSA visits 6–10+ accounts per day, with flexibility based on personal and territory needs.

Pay

Starting hourly rate is $15.50–$16.50 per hour, varying by skill, experience, and geographic location.

Responsibilities

• Sell and maintain 100% distribution of all authorized Hershey items in the assigned territory.
• Execute retail merchandising plans flawlessly, including use of Permanent Secondary Displays and other display vehicles.
• Report weekly activity, expenses, account changes, promotions, and administrative functions.
• Submit daily activity reports using a tablet upon completion of each workday.

Requirements

• Valid U.S. state-issued driver’s license.
• Personal vehicle in sound operating condition with minimum auto insurance coverage of $100,000 per person / $100,000 per accident / $100,000 property damage, permitting business use.
• Ability to drive long distances daily to make multiple sales calls.
• Ability to lift 10–40 lbs. regularly, with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, and demonstrate manual dexterity frequently, with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Daily access to wireless internet and ability to use tablet technology.
• Flexibility and adaptability to changes in territory coverage.
• Availability to work 20–25 hours per week.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 3–4 years of food merchandising experience preferred but not required.
