Candidates must be comfortable traveling to store locations within the assigned territory and driving a personal vehicle approximately 55 miles per day. Mileage will be reimbursed at 62 cents per mile.
About the role
A Part-Time Territory Sales Associate (TSA) is an opportunity for a relationship-oriented person to develop selling skills while representing major consumer brands. TSAs ensure best-in-class merchandising, including building displays, increasing distribution of top-selling items, and replenishing permanent secondary displays.
Schedule
This is a continuous part-time role requiring 20–25 hours per week. Workdays should overlap core hours of 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, unless business needs require otherwise. On average, a TSA visits 6–10+ accounts per day, with flexibility based on personal and territory needs.
Pay
Starting hourly rate is $15.50–$16.50 per hour, varying by skill, experience, and geographic location.
Responsibilities
- Sell and maintain 100% distribution of all authorized Hershey items in the assigned territory.
- Execute retail merchandising plans flawlessly, including use of Permanent Secondary Displays and other display vehicles.
- Report weekly activity, expenses, account changes, promotions, and administrative functions.
- Submit daily activity reports using a tablet upon completion of each workday.
Requirements
- Valid U.S. state-issued driver’s license.
- Personal vehicle in sound operating condition with minimum auto insurance coverage of $100,000 per person / $100,000 per accident / $100,000 property damage, permitting business use.
- Ability to drive long distances daily to make multiple sales calls.
- Ability to lift 10–40 lbs. regularly, with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, and demonstrate manual dexterity frequently, with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Daily access to wireless internet and ability to use tablet technology.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changes in territory coverage.
- Availability to work 20–25 hours per week.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- 3–4 years of food merchandising experience preferred but not required.
