About the role
Senior Software Engineer position for a 1‑2 year contract with potential extension.
Responsibilities
- Support, build, and maintain the client’s Kubernetes platform.
- Automate infrastructure.
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines and observability tools.
- Deploy applications using Terraform and Argo CD.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience with large‑scale cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and software development engineering.
- Proficiency with infrastructure automation platforms such as Terraform.
- Experience designing, developing, and implementing solutions on Kubernetes, including infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, and observability tools.
- Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly.
- Proficiency in Python or Java is highly preferred.
Skills
- AWS proficiency in a production environment (nice‑to‑have).
Pay
Expected hourly rate range: $67.50–$97.50 per hour (estimate; final offer based on experience, skills, qualifications and internal equity).
Schedule
Hybrid schedule with 50% of work onsite at the Reston, VA office.
