About the role

Board Member Feeding Families is seeking to appoint 1-2 Trustees to join their existing Board. This role offers the opportunity to help shape the charity's future impact for those experiencing poverty across the North East, give back to the community, or share expertise to enhance Feeding Families' growth.

Responsibilities

• Support the charity in fulfilling its charitable objectives
• Maintain financial stability
• Ensure decisions prioritize children, families, and communities

Requirements

• Experience in food poverty, food justice, anti-poverty, or community resilience
• Experience in local authority, public sector, or policy development
• Experience in strategic partnerships, stakeholder engagement, and relevant networks
• Knowledge of charity law, governance, or employment law
• Experience in fundraising, grant making, or philanthropic funding
