About the role
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Trust & Estates Associate to join our team in Concord. The ideal candidate will bring at least 8 years of relevant experience, a thorough understanding of estate planning, trust administration, and probate matters, and a commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal counsel on estate planning, trusts, and probate matters
- Draft wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other related documents
- Advise clients on tax implications and asset protection strategies
- Administer estates and trusts from inception through final distribution
- Represent clients in court proceedings as needed
- Collaborate with financial advisors and other professionals to deliver comprehensive solutions
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of trust & estates law experience
- Strong knowledge of federal and state laws governing trusts and estates
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple complex cases concurrently
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree; active bar membership in good standing
