Qualifications
- Admitted to practice in New York State
- J.D. degree from an accredited law school
- Strong knowledge of estate planning, trust administration, probate, and federal estate and gift tax principles
- Excellent legal research, writing, drafting, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines with careful attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and client-service skills
- Sound professional judgment and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Experience working with high-net-worth clients and sophisticated estate planning structures is preferred
Pay
The estimated salary range for this position at the Associate level is $110,000 – $160,000. Actual compensation will depend upon a number of factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s years of experience, qualifications, skill set, and office location. Associates may also be eligible for a performance-based annual bonus.
