Trust and Estate Litigation Associate Attorney

About the role

This is an exceptional opportunity for a Trust and Estate Litigation Associate Attorney to join a highly respected firm and work on sophisticated, high-value disputes involving trusts, estates, fiduciary matters, and wealth preservation. The role offers hands-on involvement in all phases of litigation, including case strategy, discovery, motion practice, mediation, and trial preparation, while working closely with experienced attorneys who are committed to mentorship and professional development. Attorneys will gain exposure to complex matters involving high-net-worth individuals and families, providing a unique opportunity to deepen their litigation expertise and accelerate their career growth.

Responsibilities

• Support senior attorneys in trust and estate litigation cases
• Manage a case load of approximately 25 large cases
• Conduct hearings and participate in trial preparations
• Draft and respond to discovery requests
• Engage in law and motion practice
• Absorb and assist with depositions as needed
• Collaborate with a team of associates and paralegals

Requirements

• 3-7 years of experience, with 2-5 years in trust and estate litigation
• Experience with business litigation, contract disputes, and real estate transaction litigation
• Proficiency in discovery, law & motion, and deposition processes
• Barred in California
• Willingness to work flexible hours based on client needs
• Strong writing skills are essential
• Experience in a high-net-worth clientele environment is preferred
