About the Role
This Trust and Estates Associate Attorney position in our Madison, NJ office offers a dynamic tax practice with significant growth potential, excellent opportunities for client expansion, and professional advancement. The role includes a flexible, hybrid working arrangement.
Responsibilities
- Drafting sophisticated estate planning documents.
- Development and implementation of tax and estate planning strategies with minimal supervision.
- Administration of estates including direct client contact, preparation of estate tax returns, and tax planning.
- Substantial direct contact with clients and other professionals.
- Research relating to complex and innovative tax matters.
- Drafting grantor and non-grantor trusts for completed and incomplete gifts.
Qualifications
- JD from an accredited law school; LL.M. in Taxation or candidate for LL.M. in Taxation preferred.
- Must be admitted to practice in New Jersey; admission to practice in New York and/or Florida is a plus.
- 3+ years of experience in estate planning and estate administration, including drafting sophisticated estate planning documents.
- Excellent research, writing, and communications skills.

Pay
Salary Range: $150,000 USD - $190,000 USD. A variety of factors are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to experience, education, licensure and/or certifications, geographic location, market demands, and other business needs.
