Truss Assemblers

Typical Day

As a Truss Assembler, your day will be spent working hands-on to build wood or cold-formed steel trusses to be used in various construction applications. Daily tasks include measuring and positioning truss components and fastening them together using hand tools and production equipment, following design specifications to ensure accuracy and quality, inspecting finished trusses to ensure quality standards, and helping keep the work area organized and safe while meeting production goals.

Requirements

• Basic construction, manufacturing, or carpentry experience is helpful but not required.
