Field Service/Truck shop mechanic up to $40.00 per hour Job Description Summary The Field Service/Truck Shop Technician. Field service/truck shop technician performs on-site service and repair of customer vehicle, both in the field and at a RTS facility. Not Allison certified, no worries, RTS has your back with online training modules available and certified instructor led training paths to get you the additional skill set to become an Allison Certified Technician. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Include The Following Follows all policies and procedures Must possess all abilities for Field Service/Truck Shop Technician level CReceive schedule of daily assignments from supervisorMust meet or exceed RTS /Allison time guidelines for removal and replacementCalibrate ECU’s and TCM’sHave the ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and install Telma’sElectronic TroubleshootingDiagnose and separate transmission problems from vehicle problemsPerform Allison warranty when requiredVehicle system knowledgeOrganized record keeping or some filing may be requiredOther duties may be assigned Qualifications to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
