Truck Shop Supervisor

About the role

TPG is seeking a Truck Shop Supervisor to oversee maintenance personnel and procedures to provide major, routine, preventative and emergency maintenance of equipment, facilities and ensure economical and efficient operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance personnel and procedures.
• Provide major, routine, preventative and emergency maintenance of equipment and facilities.
• Ensure economical and efficient operations.

Skills

• Above average knowledge of electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics and ability to read all schematics.
• Working knowledge of diesel engines.
• Ability to troubleshoot, perform maintenance planning, project management and predictive management (desirable).
• Good computer skills with MS Windows, MS Excel, MS Word and MS Outlook.
• Working knowledge of SAP a plus.
• Ability to manage time effectively and set priorities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• One (1) year of college, technical school, or equivalent experience.
• Five (5) years maintenance experience.
• One (1) year supervisory experience.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to walk over rough terrain, sit, climb ladders and stairs, squat, kneel for extended periods.
• Work environment outdoors and indoors, exposure to extreme temperatures, weather conditions, chemicals and explosives.
