Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain communication, telematics, and safety technology systems in company tractors and trailers.
- Complete all assigned work within established timeframes to support efficient equipment turnaround and maximize fleet availability.
- Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance on installed technology and related components.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to achieve organizational goals and maintain operational efficiency.
- Accurately complete repair orders, work documentation, and equipment tags.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Provide high-quality service while ensuring all installations and repairs meet company standards.

- Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with supervisors, technicians, and other team members.

- Ability to read, interpret, and follow repair manuals, technical diagrams, and installation instructions.
- Experience accurately completing repair orders, work orders, and related documentation.
- Proficiency with computers and the ability to learn and utilize diagnostic software and other technology used in tractor and trailer maintenance.
- Previous experience with vehicle electronics, telematics, communication systems, or related technology is preferred.
