Truck Equipment Installer

Knapheide Truck Equipment Center in Red Oak, TX is seeking a full-time Installer.

About the role

Assemble, install, and customize a variety of heavy-duty work truck bodies. No experience needed—we are willing to train the right candidate who is motivated and dependable.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install equipment such as: service bodies, platforms, van packages, hoists, electrical components and circuits, shelving and drawer systems, ladder racks, and other mechanical items
• Read work instructions and installation directions
• Gather materials and properly assemble equipment
• Test performance before delivering units to a final audit

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Basic mechanical aptitude
