About the role

CHS Sun Prairie in Minot, ND is seeking a Truck Driver/Operations Specialist to haul feed to local customers and assist with daily operations in our grain elevator or feed warehouse. This is a Monday–Friday position with weekends and extended hours required during the fall busy season.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out general labor responsibilities promptly and efficiently.
  • Prepare trucks and railcars for loading/unloading.
  • Load and unload agricultural inputs using machinery or equipment.
  • Conduct and record repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory quality.
  • Deliver products safely and professionally.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulations including hours of service.
  • Maintain clean and safe work areas.
  • Perform grounds and warehouse maintenance.
  • Report safety or customer issues promptly.
  • Maintain a strong safety culture.
  • Perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in Operations and/or Trucking Operations.
  • Must meet minimum age requirement.
  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
  • Ability to lift 75 lbs.
  • Ability to climb rail cars, ladders, stairs and bins, and into the back of trailers.
  • Ability to work in dust and adverse weather conditions and temperatures.

Qualifications

  • Maintain a CDL and DOT medical card.
  • Ability to work additional hours and occasional weekends.
  • Air Brake endorsements preferred.
  • Valid Class A CDL preferred.
  • Agriculture background preferred.
  • Customer service experience preferred.
  • Forklift experience preferred.

Pay

Competitive total rewards package including base wage and, depending on the position, bonus, incentives, and commissions. Actual pay offered will vary based on experience, education, training, specialized skills, certifications, and local minimum wage/salary requirements.
