Truck Driver Non-CDL Yard Spotter

Responsibilities

• Primarily responsible for safely handling and maneuvering tractor trailers on the yard.
• Cannot drive on public roads.
• Comply with safety & DOT Regulations, continuous training, and customer service.
• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards, and guidelines.
• Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards.
• Maintain accurate records and logs.
• Maintain accurate move and yard inventory records.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Must have verifiable driving experience in "like" equipment:
• 9 Months experience in the past 3 years,
• OR 2 years' experience within the last 5 years,
• OR 5 years' experience within the last 10 years.
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test.
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years.
• Pass a DOT physical.
• Pass a Yard Driver Examination.
• Valid driver's license.
• Able to follow written and/or oral instructions.
• Able to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures.

Pay

• $26.00 Per Hour.
• Hours Per Week: 40 or more hours per week.

Schedule

• Monday – Friday.
• Start Time: 2:30 PM.
