Truck Driver - No Touch Local Class A - Penske Logistics

Average annual pay: $95,680 plus performance incentives up to $10,400. $10,000 sign-on bonus. Hazmat endorsement required upon hire; reimbursement available for the initial endorsement.

About the role

Perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships. No-touch live load and unload with 2 stops and 8 drop-and-hooks per week.

Schedule

• Dispatch times vary by day
• Off Tuesday and Saturday
• Average 50 to 60 hours per week
• Home daily

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL required
• Must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in state of residence
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
• 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years, or 2 years in the last 5 years
• 3-year DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• English language proficiency (required by federal law 49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2))
• Must work the required schedule and location
• Must complete Penske employment application, background investigation, and drug screening
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner

• Frequent movement: stand, walk, sit, use hands to touch/handle/feel, reach with hands and arms
• Lift and/or move up to 50 lbs/23 kg; occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs/45 kg
• Legally operate a motor vehicle and safely/frequently enter/exit the vehicle and rear cargo area
