Truck Driver - Local Delivery

About the role

This position involves delivering products to customer sites within specified timeframes, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and performing various warehouse duties.

Responsibilities

• Maintain logs and reports for DOT and company policies regarding safety and vehicle operation.
• Safely load and secure cargo, and operate forklifts and trucks.
• Perform pre- and post-checks on vehicles and forklifts.
• Transfer and load/unload product accurately and without damage.
• Notify management of accidents, damages, and concerns.
• Support warehouse and front counter operations as needed.
• Assist with additional projects as directed.

Requirements

• Safe driving skills; proven ability to operate commercial vehicles.
• Pass DOT standards and forklift training within 30 working days.
• Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
• Good judgment, work ethic, and reliability.
• Effective communication and computer skills.
• Warehouse and logistics experience (plus preferred).
• Valid driver’s license with an excellent driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
