Truck Driver - Local Delivery

About the role

This position involves delivering products to customer sites within specified timeframes, ensuring compliance with safety standards and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain required logs and reports for DOT and Company policies regarding safety and vehicle operation.
• Safely load and secure cargo, and operate forklifts to transfer and load/unload product.
• Perform pre-check and post-check operations on Company vehicles and forklifts according to procedures.
• Perform warehouse duties, ensuring accuracy in product and quantity handling.
• Notify manager of accidents, damages, violations, and concerns.
• Support ongoing business needs with additional projects and duties.

Requirements

• Safe driving skills; proven ability to operate a commercial vehicle.
• Pass DOT standards and forklift training tests within 30 working days of start date.
• High level of attention to detail and ability to follow policies and practices.
• Dependable, reliable, and able to work assigned hours and days.
• Current valid driver’s license with an excellent driving record.
• 3+ years of driving experience and 2+ years of warehouse/logistics experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent, with previous forklift and delivery truck training.
