Truck Driver - Local Class A Hiring Event 8/26 - Penske Logistics

Average annual pay: $95,000 to $115,000 plus a $3,000 annual safety bonus. Home daily with a 4- or 5-day work week (driver’s choice).

Responsibilities

• Deliver palletized groceries to local stores
• Maintain professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required
• Must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in state of residence
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
• 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years, or 2 years in the last 5 years
• 3-year DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• Comply with all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and agency rules
• Ability to work the required schedule at the specified location
• Pass a background investigation (including past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
• Accept responsibility for personal safety and the safety of others

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to see and hear
• Specific vision abilities: close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
• Frequent movement: stand, walk, sit, use hands to touch/handle/feel, reach with hands and arms
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs/23 kg; occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs/45 kg
• Legally operate a motor vehicle and safely/frequently enter/exit the vehicle and rear cargo area
