Truck Driver - Local Class A Hiring Event 8/11 - Penske Logistics

What you will do

• Cover various routes and assignments as needed
• Route, shuttle and yard coverage required
• No touch deliveries OR Move trailers in and out of dock as directed by management
• Couple and uncouple trailers
• Chock trailers as they are spotted for loading and unloading and pull from doors
• Perform drop and hook/live load movements of manufacturing components while prioritizing safety and efficiency
• Maintain communication with dispatch and customer teams while contributing to a positive work environment
• Perform yard moves and trailer movements supporting manufacturing operations with approximately 40 moves per day

Schedule

Monday through Friday AM or PM start time; flexibility required

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
• 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required
