Truck Driver/Labourer – 1 Year Term

Key responsibilities

• The safe operation of heavy equipment including but not limited to single axle dump truck, rubber tire backhoe, and street sweeper.
• Winter road maintenance including sanding, snow plowing, and sidewalk snow clearing.
• Labor responsibilities as assigned including assisting with the installation, repair, and maintenance of all municipal infrastructure such as water, sanitary sewer, roads, parks, and building facilities.

Qualifications

• A minimum of three years’ experience operating equipment, including heavy equipment used in road and utility construction.
• Experience in the repair and maintenance of municipal infrastructure.
• Experience with winter road maintenance operations, including sanding and snow plowing.
