Job Description
The Laborer Truck Driver will be responsible for maintaining and servicing all equipment, maintaining service logs, and keeping up with tools.
- Work safely and comply with all safety rules and work practices
- Maintain barge equipment
- Inspect rigging
- Sweep and shovel barges
- Operate sweeper
- Training on skidsteer
- Laborer/Truck Driver: Truck driving, delivering equipment
Qualifications
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Good sense of judgment and critical thinking
- Able to troubleshoot and determine mechanical solutions
- Able to obtain forklift license
- Other Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred
- 4-5 years experience
Additional Information
- Working Environment and Conditions:
- Outdoor/indoor working environment with exposure to loud noises, dust, and potentially hazardous materials
- Shift work may be required, including weekends or holidays, depending on the operation schedule
- Will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), such as safety vests, hard hats, gloves, and steel-toe boots
