Truck Driver- Infrastructure

We are seeking top-tier talent to join our Infrastructure division and build innovative projects in the transit and transportation sectors, such as roads, highways/freeways, bridges, interchanges, LRTs, BRTs, and airports.

Responsibilities

• Operate dump trucks, 8 axle tractor-trailer combinations to transport and deliver (dump and/or spread) and maneuvering into loading and unloading positions safely in rural, suburban and urban environments in a safe and professional manner, following the rules of the road
• Communicate with dispatchers, loaders, scale staff, site leads and coworkers professionally and efficiently
• Inspect loads, couple/decouple trailers, connect/disconnect air and electrical lines, manipulate wheel locks
• Keep vehicle clean and perform basic maintenance (eg fluids); complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections; complete inspection reports to communicate maintenance/repair needs to shop, and incident reports
• Properly follows company and OSHA safety procedures. Brings problems to the attention of the Foreman, Superintendent, Safety Manager, or Human Resources.

Qualifications & Experience

• Current Class A CDL and DOT Medical Certification
• 3 Years’ dump truck experience with clean, insurable driving record is required

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to talk and hear
• Very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing all day
• Frequently lifts or moves items up to 10 pounds and occasionally lifts or moves items up to 75 pounds
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly rate: $30-$36
