Transportation Truck Driver

Responsibilities

Safely operate a commercial vehicle to transport freight to designated locations, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the mechanical soundness of the vehicle and the safety of cargo.

Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members to coordinate pickups, deliveries, and any unforeseen circumstances.

Maintain accurate records of hours worked, miles driven, fuel consumption, and other relevant data.

Uphold company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, customer service, and vehicle maintenance.

Requirements

  • A high school degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Must have 2 years of prior truck / commercial driving experience.
  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements (e.g., Class A, Hazmat).
  • Clean driving record and a commitment to safety on and off the road.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently while also being a team player.
  • Physical stamina and endurance to handle long hours of driving and occasional heavy lifting.
  • Willingness to embrace technology and adapt to new tools and systems to enhance efficiency and productivity.

$26.00 - $28.00 per hour DOE
